A Special Lecture Gender (In)equality in the US through the Lens of Social Institutions

Dr. Teresa Sobieszczyk will discuss gender (in)equality in America today.  Her review of data for the main social institutions (family, education system, economy, political system, religion, and mass media) will offer insight into the persistence of gender stratification in the US.  She will provide opportunities for participants to compare gender issues in their own countries with those in the US.
